Space Saving Tips for Your Next Kitchen

If you have decluttered your kitchen and benchtop space to the best of your ability, but still find it a little cramped, check out our following blog post for a few space-saving ideas for your next kitchen renovation that you may want to consider!

  • Popup electricity outlets

While wall outlets don’t take up much space, visually, they can add to the clutter of your kitchen benchtop working space if you don’t have much to start with. With these popup electricity outlets, they are seamlessly concealed within your stone benchtop and at the touch of a button, will pop right up ready for use.

  • Pull Out Table/Bench

Whether you entertain guests often or have a smaller kitchen, everyone can benefit from a pull-out bench that is secretly hidden in a drawer. This can provide that temporary benchtop space for when you need it, without having to purchase another table or surface that may not fit the style or aesthetic of your kitchen.

  • Pull Out Cabinet Rack

As mentioned previously in another blog post, pull out pantry organisers are a great way to utilise unproductive space that may not be normally used. Smart use of storage in the kitchen is essential, so no space goes to waste. Drawers are the best for this as you can easily see what you have without having to crouch down to peek inside.

  • Floating Shelves

The presence of extra storage in the form of floating shelves makes decluttering easier, as it is more convenient to store your most used items out in the open with easy access, rather than cramming them into the nearest cabinet because you want a clear counter. It is one of the best space-saving solutions that will prevent clutter from sitting on your benchtop. Floating shelves are also a great way to utilise space on your wall that may not have enough space for a cabinet.

  • Pull Out Bins

Pull out bins are a great way to cleverly conceal your rubbish and keeps all the unpleasant odours at bay. These bins keep your kitchen aesthetically pleasing as they are not out in the open and due to the drawer function, it still allows for easy access when you need it.

  • Boiling & Ambient Filtered Water Tap

If you want to take it a step further by removing your kettle or your water filtration jug entirely from your benchtop, consider these water taps that can be integrated seamlessly into your benchtop that provide on-demand drinking solutions.

A decluttered kitchen doesn’t mean you must get rid of everything you don’t use on a daily basis. It just means concealing or storing items in a way to make them accessible but not viewable to others.
